Filed under: News , UFC , Videos LAS VEGAS – Johny Hendricks wants an August return after suffering the first knockout loss of his career against Stephen Thompson at UFC Fight Night 82. Hendricks (17-4 MMA, 12-4 UFC) was overwhelmed by the striking prowess of Thompson (12-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) en route to a first-round TKO loss in Saturday’s headliner at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. Although Hendricks was stopped by strikes for the first time, he took the defeat in stride. He said he the upcoming birth of his next child will occupy his schedule in the coming months, but after that, he wants to get right back to business.
