LAS VEGAS – Those hoping for heavyweight fireworks didn’t get them from Roy Nelson and Jared Rosholt . What they got instead was a largely tentative affair with one fighter worried about the takedown and other concerned about getting knocked out. In the end, neither happened, but Nelson (21-12 MMA, 8-8 UFC) did enough to take the unanimous decision, edging out Rosholt (14-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) with scores of 30-27, 30-27, 29-28. The heavyweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC Fight Night 82 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
