Anthony Johnson again proved why he’s arguably the most fearsome knockout artist on the UFC roster when he defeated Ryan Bader with strikes in the main event of UFC on FOX 18 on Saturday at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. Johnson (21-5 MMA, 12-5 UFC) has shown time and time again that he only needs a small opening put his opponent away. Bader (20-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) made an early mistake that allowed Johnson to get on top and pound away with strikes for an 86-second knockout victory . “Rumble” fell short in a UFC title bout against 205-pound champ Daniel Cormier last year but has won two fights since. The knockout of Bader could lead to another championship opportunity. Check below for the top Twitter reactions to Johnson’s victory over Bader at UFC on FOX 18.
