Kevin Casey Kevin Casey is moving into 2016 with two resolutions: to protect his head better and come into fights a little bit lighter. Both aren’t just smart ways of fighting, they’re a matter of personal safety for the UFC middleweight. Casey’s most recent bout at UFC Fight Night 80 ended in just 11 seconds when he was poked in the eye by Antonio Carlos Junior. It was the fastest no-contest in UFC history and left “The Ultimate Fighter 17” veteran blind in his left eye for at least three minutes, he said. Casey told MMAjunkie the complications continued backstage.
