Fowlkes: Danny, I don’t know if you’ve noticed that “getting better with age” seems like the phrase most likely to replace “embracing the grind” in Mike Goldberg’s commentary-by-numbers lexicon, but there are times when it actually seems true. UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler (33) seems like a good example. So did Andrei Arlovski (36), right up until he got knocked out by Stipe Miocic (33).
