But he rebounded in a big way this past year, and he now thinks 2016 could truly be his time to shine. Brandao (20-10 MMA, 6-3 UFC) rebounded from knockout losses to Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor with first-round TKO victories over Jimy Hettes and Katsunori Kikuno in 2015. Now, he’s gearing up for Saturday’s UFC 195 pay-per-view main-card bout with Brian Ortega (9-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. During Thursday’s open workouts, Brandao said his life finally have some stability. He’s surrounded by family, and now looking for his third straight win, he returns to Las Vegas, which has become a bit of a second home for the 28-year-old Brazilian and “The Ultimate Fighter 14” winner
