Filed under: News , Videos Multi-time jiu-jitsu world champion Gabi Garcia was triumphant in her MMA debut on Thursday when she scored a first-round TKO of Seini Draughn at Rizin Fighting Federation 1: Day 2. Garcia (1-0) endured a brief scare in the opening seconds of the women’s heavyweight contest at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. She was knocked down by a Draughn (0-1) left hand in one of the first exchanges of the fight and was forced into recovery mode early. Instead of turning to her strength and attempting to take the fight to the ground, Garcia threw hands with Draughn, who was also making her MMA debut after a previous career in professional wrestling.
