Immediately after Holly Holm knocked out Ronda Rousey , talk of a rematch became the hot topic. While both UFC president Dana White and Holm said after the fight that a rematch made sense, despite the definitive finish, it wasn’t until Thursday’s media blitz that White confirmed such plans. “Me and Lorenzo (Fertitta) should probably lose our promoter’s license if we didn’t make that rematch,” White said on ESPN radio’s Mike & Mike show, as he confirmed plans to make the rematch. “Yeah, that fight’s going to happen. I don’t know when, but that’s the fight that will happen.” At the UFC 193 post-fight press conference, Holm didn’t hesitate when asked whether or not Rousey deserved an immediate opportunity to get the belt back. “I think a rematch makes sense for sure. I’ve been on the losing side of a fight and wanted a rematch, wanted to avenge my loss,” said Holm
