Patricky “Pitbull” Freire Veteran Bellator lightweight Patricky Freire ’s attention has been in a lot of different places when it comes to the opponents he’d like to fight. First on his list, obviously, is champ Will Brooks. The two got into a fistfight along with Freire’s brother, now-ex featherweight champion Patricio Freire, a month ago prior to Brooks’ title defense at Bellator 145. The problem is, Brooks won’t give him a fight – at least right now, when Freire is still bouncing between wins and losses and looking to mount a winning streak. A lot of public jawing didn’t change that, so when the Brazilian recently sought out his next opponent, he was looking for the next best thing.
