Filed under: Featured , News , UFC Ronda Rousey has broken her silence following the shocking loss of her UFC women’s bantamweight title in Saturday’s UFC 193 main event. Rousey (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) exited the octagon shortly after regaining consciousness following a Holm (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) head kick in the second round. “Rowdy” was immediately transported to the hospital following the loss of her title and did not attend the post-fight press conference to address the first defeat of her career. UFC President Dana White revealed on Twitter that Rousey needed stitches in her mouth after she was stopped by a vicious head kick from Holm in the second round, but aside from that, was free of any major injury.
