But the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s most marketable star doesn’t have to look back far to remember a time when money was in short supply. Following her bronze medal in judo at the 2008 Olympics, Rousey was pressed for cash, having devoted herself entirely to the pursuit of Beijing glory for the previous few years.
