Brett Cooper Brett Cooper , who’s enjoyed a long run with Bellator, has apparently called it quits on his MMA career. At least at the sport’s highest (and most grueling) level. The 28-year-old Californian, who went 7-5 with Bellator from 2010-2014 and made it to two tournament finals, made the announcement via Facebook. According to Cooper (20-12), who suffered a knockout loss to Maiquel Falcao during this past weekend’s KSW 32 event in England, he felt the timing was right, especially in light of his young family. “I don’t think there is ever a perfect time to call it quits, but I think it’s time for me,” the middleweight wrote
