Glover Teixeira At 36 and with a recent two-fight skid, Glover Teixeira ’s primary current goal may seem a bit ambitious: He wants to fight again for the title. Of course, in his current division, that’s going to take some work. Although Teixeira is ranked No. 7 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA light-heavyweight rankings , there’s a logjam ahead of him; reigning champ Daniel Cormier appears destined for a rematch with returning ex-champ Jon Jones, perennial contender Ryan Bader has made a strong case for a shot of his own, and the likes of Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson have suffered title losses but remain near the top of the division, much like Teixeira.
