Caio Magalhaes UFC middleweight Caio Magalhaes was today given a six-month suspension and ordered to perform 40 hours of community service for spitting on Josh Samman following their bout at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale. Magalhaes’ (9-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) suspension, voted unanimously by four members of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, is retroactive to the date of the bout with Samman (12-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC), which took place at July 12 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Additionally, his community service needs to be verified before he is able to receive another license in Nevada. He received no monetary penalty
