After the UFC Fight Night 76 co-main event between Stipe Miocic and Ben Rothwell was scratched last, the Dublin-based event suffered knockout blow on Wednesday when the Joe Duffy vs. Dustin Poirier headliner was pulled from the bill as well. UFC officials revealed the bad news on Wednesday afternoon, releasing a full statement on the cancellation on the promotion’s website. Duffy apparently suffered a mild concussion during training earlier in the week, so he is not allowed to compete on Saturday. With no time left to find a suitable replacement for Poirier, the Paddy Holohan vs. Louis Smolka bout, which last week was elevated to co-main event status, will now serve as a three-round main event.
