What Bader (20-4 MMA, 13-4 UFC) needs after his win over Evans (19-4-1 MMA, 14-4-1 UFC) is that one last push to convince the UFC he is worthy of a title shot against champ Daniel Cormier, who notched his first title defense in UFC 192’s headliner with a gritty performance . Bader and Cormier already have nearly come to blows . But with ex-champ Jon Jones now free of immediate jail time in the wake of his role in a hit-and-run accident, it’s unclear what the UFC will decide to do next with the championship. Bader is trying not to stress over whom the UFC decides is the next title challenger.
