The promotion has released Part 1 of its “Uncaged” series for the bout, allowing fans to get a look at the two men who will battle for the belt. Narantungalag won the title in August 2014, defeating Koji Oishi by unanimous decision at ONE Championship: Reign of Champions. The win put Narantungalag on a two-fight winning streak with 10 wins in his previous 11 fights. Gafurov earned his shot at the belt with back-to-back Round 1 rear-naked choke submissions in his first two ONE Championship bouts.
