Following Nick Diaz ‘s disciplinary hearing before the Nevada Athletic Commission on Sept. 14, 2015, in which the commission handed him a five-year suspension, Diaz’s attorney, Lucas Middlebrook, tore into the commission for having no protocol, ignoring its own regulations, and on and on. In short, Middlebrook summed it up best by calling the commission a “Kangaroo Court,” before declaring that he would pursue a judicial review on behalf of his client.
