VanZant (6-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) was dominant in the fight, pressuring Chambers (5-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) relentlessly and wearing her down with her striking and size. While Chambers stayed in the fight as long as she could, eventually she was taken down by VanZant and left her arm open to be taken, forcing the tap at the 1:01 mark of Round 3. The women’s strawweight bout opened up the main card of today’s UFC 191 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass
