Jason High With a year-long suspension and release from the UFC behind him, Jason High has the opportunity for a fresh start after signing with WSOF . High (18-5) was sidelined by the New Mexico State Athletic Commission as a result of pushing referee Kevin Mulhall at UFC Fight Night 42. High was upset with Mulhall for stopping his June 2014 s after a sequence of punches from Rafael dos Anjos, several of which appeared to be illegal blows to the back of High’s head. The UFC released High after the incident, leaving him without a contract or the ability to take any fights until the suspension ended. Since he couldn’t fight, High wasn’t in serious negotiations for a new contract until recently
