That means a lot of opportunities to flub a line or fall during one of his trademark turns while announcing the fighters for the evening’s featured bouts. However, the veteran cage announcer said he can count the number of big time mistakes on one hand over the past 18 years. During a fan Q&A session earlier this month at the UFC’s “International Fight Week” and UFC 189, Buffer recounted two of the biggest mistakes in his career – and the one time his own excitement caused an injury.
