Calderwood (10-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC), who picked up her first official UFC win with a decision over Cortney Casey (4-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 72, welcomed a fight with women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk in the near future. “Yeah, if that fight happens, I don’t think both of us will be taking it to the ground,” she said at Saturday’s post-event presser at SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. “All the fans want to see that fight, and obviously, speaking for myself, I want to see that fight, because she’s put on a master class with other girls, so it’s a fight that excites me.” Whether she qualifies just yet for such an opportunity is another matter
