Michael Bisping’s left big toe GLASGOW, Scotland – It’s not often that fighters leave the octagon free of bumps and bruises. The toe injury suffered by Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night 72, however, was one of the more grotesque in recent memory. Bisping (27-7 MMA, 17-7 UFC) escaped the main event of the UFC’s first fight card in Scotland with a split-decision victory over Thales Leites (25-5 MMA, 10-4 UFC). He used his technical striking ability to add up points over the rounds and ultimately left the octagon with his 17th UFC victory. UFC commentators Mike Goldberg and Brian Stann noted several times over the five-round contest that Bisping’s mobility and footwork did not look like his typical self.
