Holm (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) took a unanimous decision over Reneau (6-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) after utilizing a diverse striking attack that included a variety of kicks. Holm turned up the heat late in the fight, having her must successful combinations land late in Round 3. While she couldn’t get the stoppage, she did take the unanimous decision by scores of 30-27, 30-26 and 29-28. The women’s bantamweight bout took place on the main card of today’s UFC Fight Night 71 event at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego
