The only thing to do after the UFC’s decision, as Brown (20-13 MMA, 13-7 UFC) saw it, was to make the best of the situation. And if you saw his fight against Tim Means (24-7-1 MMA, 6-4 UFC), there was no doubt he did just that. After back-to-back losses in fights against ex-champ Johny Hendricks and current titleholder Robbie Lawler, Brown got back in the win column with a submission victory over the gritty Means on the FOX Sports 1-televised prelims.
