Filed under: Featured Videos , News , Videos LAS VEGAS – Irene Aldana has a humble demeanor ahead of what’s easily the most significant fight of her young career, one that could mean a lot for her home country: She meets Tony Evinger for the vacant bantamweight title at Invicta FC 13 on Thursday. Aldana (5-1) has the chance to become Invicta’s first Mexican-born champion when they meet at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, which hosts the UFC Fight Pass-streamed event. That distinction would be a byproduct of winning the fight, which Aldana said is her exclusive goal against Evinger (15-5). “(Winning the belt) would be a great step, a big step personally and professional; it’s going to be an honor to take that belt,” Aldana told MMAjunkie
