It’s a shot for Mir to win consecutive bouts for the first time since December 2011. Prior to knocking out Antonio Silva at UFC Fight Night 61, Mir (17-9 MMA, 15-9 UFC) had lost four consecutive bouts. That losing skid had many fans suggesting that it was time for Mir to hang up his gloves and retire from the sport
