Jose Aldo UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo was negative for steroids and other performance-enhancers after a botched out-of-competition test conducted this past month by the Nevada State Athletic Commission in connection with Saturday’s UFC 189. Aldo’s urine was tested using a “partial WADA menu” of substances including anabolic agents, “growth factors and related substances” and other banned PEDs, according to a testing document from the WADA-accredited Sports Medicine Research and Testing Laboratory in Salt Lake City, obtained today by MMAjunkie after a public records request.
