Joanna Jedrzejczyk Following her lopsided title win this past Saturday in Germany, Joanna Jedrzejczyk is heading for surgery. Jedrzejczyk (10-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC), the UFC’s women’s strawweight champion, dominated Jessica Penne (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in the UFC Fight Night 69 main event at O2 World Berlin in Germany’s capital city. But she suffered a broken right thumb during her third-round TKO victory. The champ recently posted pictures of her right thumb in a cast (via Instagram and Twitter ). Tonight, on FOX Sports 1’s “UFC Tonight,” correspondent Ariel Helwani reported Jedrzejczyk will undergo surgery in Los Angeles.
