Fabricio Werdum made some more MMA history on Saturday when he upset Cain Velasquez to win the UFC heavyweight title. After his win at UFC 188, Werdum gave some credit to the time he spent training in Mexico ahead of the fight. Werdum (20-5-1 MMA, 8-2 UFC) told MMAjunkie he worked at a training facility in Mexico for his fight against Velasquez (13-2 MMA, 11-2 UFC) with an abundance of big-name Brazilian fighters.
