Highly regarded women’s strawweight Jessica Aguilar (19-4) requested to be released by World Series of Fighting to pursue a career in mixed martial arts’ biggest promotion. She was granted her WSOF release on May 18 and has inked a deal with the UFC. Combate first reported the news on Thursday, and Aguilar confirmed the development on Friday via Twitter.
