Brian Ebersole had a tough fight against rising Russian talent Omari Akhmedov at UFC Fight Night 68 on Saturday night in New Orleans. Akhmedov blasted Ebersole’s lead leg with kicks throughout the opening five minutes of their bout, and before the bell could sound to start round two, the fight was over. Ebersole having suffered a knee injury at some point in the first round, the referee waved off the fight in between rounds. It was Ebersole’s third loss in his last four fights, and it sounds like it may mark his final trip to the Octagon.
