In tonight’s UFC Fight Night 67 headliner, “The Natural Born Killer” reminded the world that he’s still one of the top welterweights in the sport. Condit (30-8 MMA, 7-4 UFC) traveled into enemy territory in Brazil where he defeated longtime octagon veteran Thiago Alves (21-10 MMA, 13-7 UFC) by a doctor’s stoppage TKO after the second round . The former interim UFC welterweight champion utilized a diverse attack of strikes and mangled Alves’ nose. He proceeded to assault “The Pitbull” through the end of the second round before the doctor decided to wave the fight off begin the third. Condit had become a forgotten man in the welterweight division due to his inactivity
