Kendall Grove Bellator MMA middleweight champ Brandon Halsey (8-0 MMA, 6-0 BMMA) and Kendall Grove (21-14 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) have each passed an out-of-competition drug test conducted by the California State Athletic Commission in advance of their title fight at Bellator 137. CSAC Executive Director Andy Foster confirmed the news to MMAjunkie on Tuesday evening, noting the fighters were tested via urine for a “full WADA menu” including drugs of abuse and performance-enhancing drugs. Bellator 137 takes place Friday at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif. Halsey vs. Grove headlines the Spike TV-televised main card following prelims on MMAjunkie. This past week, Grove said the Bellator champ is “juiced out of his mind” and accused the CSAC of falling short of its duties.
