Robert Whittaker ADELAIDE, Australia – Robert Whittaker  needed just one short left hook to sit Brad Tavares  down in the opening minute of their bout. When Tavares (13-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) got back up, Whittaker (14-4 MMA, 5-2 UFC) used the very same left hook to put him down again. A few follow-up punches later, it was all over, and Whittaker had himself a knockout victory just 44 seconds into the first round. The middleweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC Fight Night 65 event at Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass. The first left hook from Whittaker snuck through Tavares’ defenses almost without his notice.
