Hunt (10-9-1 MMA, 5-3-1 UFC), who headlines UFC Fight Night 65 opposite Stipe Miocic (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC), could have been released from the industry leader when it acquired his contract by purchasing the now-defunct PRIDE. Instead, he went on to become a star in the UFC’s octagon and deliver several highlight-reel knockouts, in the process becoming one of the more beloved members of the promotion’s roster. Although Hunt’s improbable comeback story has yet to yield a title, the “Super Samoan” said he has no intentions of slowing down any time soon.
