Suter, a judge with the Superior Court of New Jersey, today granted Bellator MMA an injunction to prevent light heavyweight Quinton Jackson (35-11 MMA, 7-5 UFC) from fighting Fabio Maldonado (22-7 MMA, 5-4 UFC) at the April 25 pay-per-view event, which takes place at Montreal’s Bell Centre, a court rep confirmed with MMAjunkie. The Viacom-owned fight promotion filed suit against “Rampage” in chancery court on March 4, alleging he breached a deal signed in June 2013. An April 2 hearing was delayed and pushed back to today
