Lesnar’s WWE contract was set to expire next Monday, the day after WrestleMania 31, the company’s most significant yearly event. There have been longstanding rumors Lesnar was leaning toward making a second run at MMA following his December 2011 retirement, but he today announced on ESPN that after many months of debate, he’s decided to sign a new contract with the WWE. “I’m here to say my legacy in the octagon is over,” Lesnar said. “However, my legacy this Sunday at WrestleMania will not be my last.
