Erick Silva RIO DE JANEIRO – Erick Silva handed Josh Koscheck a loss in the onetime title challenger’s last contractual obligation to the UFC – and finally got a second straight win under the UFC banner. Silva (18-5 MMA, 6-4 UFC) swarmed Koscheck (17-10 MMA, 15-10 UFC) with punches before securing a guillotine choke that forced a tapout in the first round. The welterweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC Fight Night 62 event at Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 2 and UFC Fight Pass. The official time of stoppage was the 4:21 mark of the first round.
