RIO DE JANEIRO – For more than two rounds, “TUF: Latin America” vets Fredy Serrano and Bentley Syler danced around, largely canceling each other out stylistically. Then, out of nowhere, the power that Serrano (2-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) hinted at early in the fight expressed itself in the most violent way possible: a right uppercut that found Syler’s (6-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) chin. The flyweight bout opened up the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 62 event at Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims on FOX Sports 2 and a main card on FOX Sports 1.
