Former WWE star Phil “ CM Punk ” Brook is apparently one step closer to his UFC debut. The 36-year-old, whom UFC officials announced as a signee back in December, enters the world’s top MMA promotion with zero pro-fighting experience. However, ahead of his currently unscheduled pro and UFC debut, Punk has hooked up with trainer Duke Roufus and the famed Roufusport academy in Milwaukee. Earlier today, Roufus posted some pictures from Punk’s “MMA fight scrimmage” with Craig Eckelberg, a 4-0 pro welterweight who also trains at Roufusport. Roufus said Punk “has some things to work on but he showed a lot of” potential.
