Before he was champion, Pettis met Lauzon on the main card of February 2012’s UFC 144 event. While the two action-first fighters were expected to engage in a rousing battle, a brutal left high kick ended the war in a single blow. Watch the video above to see the incredible knockout. Pettis (18-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) returns to action at next week’s UFC 185 event in Dallas, where he meets top contender Rafael dos Anjos (23-7 MMA, 12-5 UFC) in the evening’s headlining matchup.
