Bellator 134 took place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., and the five-fight main card aired on Spike TV. In the headliner, a new champion was crowned when Liam McGeary (10-0 MMA, 7-0 BMMA) edged by reigning light-heavyweight titleholder Emanuel Newton (25-8-1 MMA, 8-2 BMMA) in a submission-filled five-rounder (check out the full Bellator 134 event recap ). Earlier on the card, two notables picked up wins as Muhammed Lawal (15-4 MMA, 7-3 BMMA) moved up to heavyweight to beat Cheick Kongo (22-10-2 MMA, 4-2 BMMA), and Paul Daley (36-13-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) returned to Bellator and the U.S. to batter welterweight Andre Santos (37-10 MMA, 1-1 BMMA).
