Despite telling MMAjunkie in November 2014 that a drop to middleweight could be in his future , Lawal instead has gone the other direction for a jump to heavyweight. So how did the light heavyweight who was teasing a move down to 185 pounds arrive in a heavyweight fight? “King Mo” said it was all about opportunity. “I saw that Bobby Lashley was hurt and really couldn’t put in a full training camp, so I stepped in to fight James Thompson,” Lawal told MMAjunkie
