ONE Championship (as Asia’s biggest MMA organization now wants to be known) announced eight new signings on Friday, including undefeated BJJ black belt Christian Uflacker , who has previously enjoyed success with both Bellator and Strikeforce. Uflacker (5-0) has not fought since 2012, but is a decorated grappler who has won numerous tournaments and competitions. He is set to compete in ONE Championship’s welterweight division where he will be a potential challenger for the belt currently held by Ben Askren . Other undefeated fighters who have been added to the ONE Championship roster include Brace MMA bantamweight champion Jordan Lucas (7-0) and Korean welterweight Dae Ryeong Kim (5-0), who is the older brother of former 135-pound title challenger Dae Hwan Kim. Two of the new signees are scheduled to appear at ONE FC: Age of Champions in Kuala Lumpur on March 13. Asuka Mikami (11-2-1-1) challenges Adriano Moraes for the flyweight title in the main event and former SFL 155-pound champion Rajinder Singh Meena (8-1) faces Malaysia’s Peter Davis in the co-main event.
