Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz , both having been out of action for an extended amount of time, returned at UFC 183 on Saturday, and it’s no wonder. The UFC paid them a combined $1.3 million to return to the Octagon. Silva had been sidelined for more than a year after suffering a severely broken leg in his loss to Chris Weidman in December of 2013. Diaz had been in a self-imposed retirement since March of 2013, after having lost to Georges St-Pierre . The fight ended in Silva’s favor, the former UFC middleweight champion earning a unanimous decision from the judges after five rounds of outstriking Diaz. > SEE ALSO: Anderson Silva vs
