Cormier (15-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) and Gustafsson (16-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC), respectively ranked No. 3 and No. 4 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA light-heavyweight rankings , are both coming off high-profile losses. Cormier fell short in a title fight with reigning champ Jon Jones earlier this year, and Gustafsson recently suffered a knockout loss to Anthony Johnson in a title eliminator.
