Gegard Mousasi STOCKHOLM – Gegard Mousasi ’s glancing right hand above the ear sent Dan Henderson crashing to the floor, but it was the referee intervention shortly thereafter that left him spitting mad, and this time Henderson’s comeback was halted before it could even start. After Henderson (30-13 MMA, 7-7 UFC) went down early in the first round, referee Leon Roberts jumped in to call a stop to the bout at 1:10 of Round 1, handing Mousasi (36-5-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) the TKO victory, and enraging Henderson in the process. The middleweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC on FOX 14 event at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm. It aired on FOX following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Things took a strange turn early in this fight, as a punch by Mousasi seemed to open up a cut around Henderson’s left eye, which prompted a surprising pause as Mousasi stepped back and motioned at the cut as if trying to draw Roberts’ attention to it.
