Jake Shields wasted little time to secure a WSOF 17 win, finishing Brian Foster in the first round on Saturday night in Las Vegas. Shields brought the fight to the ground and soon after secured Foster’s back, scoring a rear-naked choke at 2:51 of the opening round. “Anytime you finish a fight in the first round, you’re happy,” Shields said. Foster came out swinging in the opening stages, looking for the early knockout. Shields took advantage of his opponent’s focus on power strikes, dropping a level and putting Foster on his back
