Jon Jones Reebok is standing by UFC light-heavyweight champ Jon Jones as he heads to rehab after being flagged for cocaine in a recent drug test, which was administered before his eventual win in this past weekend’s UFC 182 headliner. “We commend Jon for taking the necessary steps to address this issue, and we will support him in any way we can,” the apparel giant said in a prepared statement to MMAjunkie. “The status of Jon’s relationship with Reebok has not changed.” Reebok this past month signed an endorsement deal with Jones, 27, in advance of an apparel deal with the UFC , which will roll out uniforms made by the company in July. Of course, a gaffe such as today’s news isn’t good for Jones, who said he’s worked hard to cultivate an image friendly to blue-chip sponsors, or to the UFC, which has touted the uniform deal as another major milestone for the fight promotion.
